Evyenia Epaminondou

Evyenia was born in London. She graduated from the University of East Anglia where she obtained her Law degree and thereafter preceded to continue her studies at University College London (UCL) with an LLM in International Business Law. She was admitted as a member of the Cyprus Bar Association in 2011 and has since worked at a top tier ranked law firm as well as worked as in-house legal counsel for an international company. She joined our firm in August 2019 as a Senior Associate. Her main areas of practice are primarily competition law, commercial law, data privacy and employment law.

She has extensive experience in advising clients on merger control law matters, notifications of concentrations before the Cyprus Competition authority (CPC) and antitrust practices. She also provides labour law advice to clients covering a wide range of areas including dismissals, with a special focus on the preparation of employment related documentation for multinational as well as domestic entities. Moreover, she provides regulatory advice to international companies in relation to advertising, marketing, licensing and labelling requirements. She has also advised companies on data privacy, cybercrime and e-commerce matters, and particularly in light of the implementation of the GDPR, advises on GDPR issues and mandatory requirements.

She is fluent in both English and Greek. Evyenia is listed and recommended as a Next Generation Lawyer by the Legal 500.
