George Marios has obtained a degree in LLB Law from the University of Reading in 2020. He continued his education at the University of Law where he obtained his Legal Practice Course and LL.M in Professional Legal Practice. During his studies George Marios has been involved in drafting particulars of claims, preparing defences and counter claims. During LL.M he focused on Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking debt & Finance, Public Companies and Commercial Dispute Resolution. George Marios joined the firm in 2021 as a trainee advocate of the department of Financial Services, Funds and Capital Markets. He is engaged in providing legal and regulatory advice to alternative investment funds, financial institutions and other regulated entities. He is also providing support with legal research in relation to non-performing loans (NPL’s) and regulatory framework of the Central Bank of Cyprus. He is fluent in English and Greek and conversational in French and Italian.
