Thea Nicolaou

Thea graduated in Law from the University of Reading and obtained an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary University of London. During her undergraduate studies, Thea was elected as the Vice President of Marketing of the European Law Students Association (ELSA). Upon completion of her studies, she subsequently completed her legal training  in the litigation department of a leading Cyprus law firm before joining Prountzos & Prountzos LLC, a regulated Cyprus law firm and a member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited and was admitted with commendation to the Cyprus Bar Association.

Thea is currently a Senior Associate in our Corporate Department and she is heavily involved and provides advice on corporate restructurings, M&A, both local and cross-border reorganisations, inbound and outbound re-domiciliations, setting up IP structures, setting up internal corporate governance structures, as well as provides advice and assistance with other aspects of the regulatory framework relevant to the corporate, commercial and industrial sectors in Cyprus and the EU. Thea has also been an active member of the legal team advising clients in relation to the implementation of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Thea is fluent in Greek and English, and conversational in Spanish and Italian.
